What is WiNx

WiNx is a unique event hosted by the Women in Nuclear Global (WiN Global) and the Young Generation.


The first edition of the event will be co-hosted by the Global Women's Network for Energy Transition (GWNET).


This event will bring together global leaders, thinkers, and action takers to share innovative ideas and their experience in different fields — including technology, leadership, gender balance, innovation, and development.

WiNx Conference

The first edition of the WiNx Special Event will be held on June 28-29, 2022 in Provence, south of France.

The event will be co-hosted by the GWNET, and focus on the topic "Women & Energy Transition".

During the event an Expert Panel will provide the audience with key insights from the latest global energy trends and policy decisions, focusing on clean energy sources. It will feature high-level speakers from different women-led networks and energy industries.

This event will provide an opportunity to support technology development and show the diversity in Energy Transition goals.

WiNx talks

WiN Global Young Generation is excited to be a WiNx talks creator, with the "x" standing for eXtra.


These high-level stand-up talks will be made available to watch for free on WiN Global YouTube and translated to different languages.


It will feature expert speakers who are preselected along with their topics. This first edition will feature men and women from different countries.


Our speakers will tackle humanity's most challenging questions, attempting to answer them with innovation, enterprise, and enduring optimism.


Their speeches will focus on diversity & inclusion, i.e., women leadership, gender champions talks, personal storytelling, and the young generation's vision.

Located in the heart of Provence, Lourmarin is one of the most beautiful villages in France and offers a privileged setting for hosting events. A former rehabilitated agricultural cooperative, La Fruitière Numérique is a unique place for transmission, creation and discovery, intellectual production, conviviality and also a place for meetings, exchanges, co-meetings, etc.

How to come

Provence region in south of France has two main airports:

- Marseille airport ;
- Nice airport.

Transport June 28: the bus will leave from Aix en Provence to Cadarache. The price is included in a ticket of tour.

Transport June 29: there is about 40min distance between Aix en Provence and Fruitière Numérique,  84160 Lourmarin. A taxi cost is around 30-40eur/person/round trip (in a shared taxi).

Founded in 1992, Women in Nuclear Global (WiN Global) is a global non-governmental organization of women working professionally in various fields of nuclear energy and radiation applications. WiN Global currently has around 35.000 members, located in 145 countries, regions, and international organizations.


On 8 March 2021, WiN Global officially launched the Young Generation group that seeks to create an ecosystem in which the young generation can thrive and be heard.

The Global Women’s for the Energy Transition (GWNET) is an international non-profit organisation founded in 2017 under Austrian law. GWNET aims to advance the global energy transition by connecting and empowering women working in sustainable energy in both developed and emerging/developing countries.
